30-Day Limited Warranty for Used Cameras
Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Limited Warranty is provided by Silver Square Film Lab (“SSFL”) for qualifying used cameras serviced and sold by SSFL.
1. Who Is Covered
This warranty applies to the original consumer purchaser of a qualifying used camera purchased directly from Silver Square Film Lab. It is not transferable.
2. What Is Covered
Unless the individual product listing states otherwise, a used camera serviced and sold by SSFL is covered against functional defects or malfunctions affecting features that were represented as tested and functional at the time of sale.
Coverage begins on the date the camera is delivered to the customer or picked up by the customer and continues for 30 calendar days.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
Previously disclosed cosmetic condition
Scratches, dents, finish wear, brassing, discoloration, or other cosmetic characteristics
Batteries or film
Normal wear
Misuse or improper operation
Impact, dropping, crushing, water, moisture, excessive heat, or improper storage
Damage caused by unauthorized repair, modification, or disassembly
Damage occurring after delivery that is unrelated to a covered defect
Any feature specifically identified in the product listing as untested, defective, nonfunctional, or sold with a known limitation
The age, appearance, or ordinary cosmetic condition of a used camera is not itself considered a defect.
4. What Silver Square Film Lab Will Do
If SSFL determines that a valid covered defect exists during the warranty period, SSFL may, at its option:
repair the camera;
replace it with a reasonably comparable item;
provide another mutually agreed remedy; or
refund the purchase price after the camera is returned.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, availability of replacement parts or comparable equipment, and whether repair is reasonably practicable.
5. How to Obtain Warranty Service
To make a warranty claim:
Contact SSFL within the applicable 30-day warranty period at info@silversquarefilm.com.
Include your name, order number, camera make and model, and a clear description of the problem.
Include photographs or video showing the issue when reasonably helpful.
Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt repair of the camera before giving SSFL a reasonable opportunity to evaluate the claim.
Wait for return instructions before shipping the camera.
If SSFL requires the camera to be returned for evaluation of a warranty claim, SSFL will provide return instructions and, when SSFL requests the return, reasonable standard return-shipping costs will be handled by SSFL as instructed.
Warranty correspondence and authorized returns may be directed to:
Silver Square Film Lab
1045 Cobb PKWY N.
Marietta, GA 30062
Do not ship a warranty return without first contacting SSFL and receiving return instructions.
6. Inspection
SSFL may inspect and test the returned camera to determine whether the reported problem is covered by this warranty.
If inspection determines that the problem resulted from an excluded condition, such as impact, misuse, moisture, unauthorized modification, or a condition disclosed before sale, warranty coverage may be denied.
7. Other Warranties and Rights
This written Limited Warranty does not disclaim or eliminate any implied warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not permit SSFL to disclaim or eliminate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSFL is not liable under this warranty for incidental or consequential damages.
Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
SSFL does not require participation in an informal dispute-settlement program as a condition of exercising rights under this warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
8. Relationship to Other SSFL Policies
This warranty should be read together with the applicable product listing, Silver Square Film Lab's Terms & Conditions, and Return & Refund Policy.
If an individual product listing expressly provides different or additional written warranty coverage, the more specific written warranty terms for that product will control to the extent permitted by law.
