We professionally scan 35mm, half-frame, panoramic, and 120 negatives and deliver high-resolution JPEG files ready for viewing, sharing, printing, or archiving.
Each roll is carefully inspected and scanned with attention to color, density, and overall image quality.
Basic dust and light scratch cleanup is included with every scan.

Color negatives and black-and-white film accepted
HOW WE COUNT ONE ROLL
For Digital Scans Only pricing, one roll equals one standard roll of film. A partial roll is still counted as one roll.
35mm full-frame film is counted as one roll for up to 36 exposures.
35mm half-frame film is counted as one roll for up to 72 exposures.
35mm panoramic film is counted as one roll when the negatives originated from a single standard 35mm roll, regardless of the reduced number of panoramic frames produced by the camera.
120 film is counted as one roll based on the normal number of exposures produced by the format used, including approximately 16 frames for 6×4.5, 12 frames for 6×6, 10 frames for 6×7, and 8 frames for 6×9.
If submitted negatives contain more frames than one standard roll, we may charge the additional frames as an additional roll.
We may count loose strips from multiple rolls separately when they cannot reasonably be identified as coming from the same roll.
Important:
*Please keep your negatives uncut. We cannot process individually cut frames or previously separated negatives with this service.
**This service is scanning only and does not include film development. Your negatives must already be fully developed before submission.
***While we include basic cleanup, we cannot guarantee complete restoration of negatives affected by heavy scratching, emulsion damage, chemical degradation, staining, or other permanent physical damage.
Please do not submit contaminated negatives. Silver Square Film Lab reserves the right to refuse negatives affected by mold, chemical residue, biological contamination, or other materials that could damage equipment or other customers’ film; the customer will be responsible for any return shipping costs.
Please protect your film by placing it in a protective sleeve and padded envelope labeled with your name and order number before drop-off or mailing.
Please order the number of rolls based on the original number of film rolls represented by your negatives, not the number of negative strips submitted.
